Install a Printer Using USB

Connect directly and install printer software.

Steps

  1. Turn on the printer and make sure it is ready.
  2. Connect the USB cable directly to your computer if possible.
  3. Wait for the operating system to detect it.
  4. Open printer settings and add or select the device.
  5. If prompted, install software from the manufacturer's official support site.
  6. Print a test page.
